Resident Evil Village DLC expected to appear at E3 2021

Resident Evil VILLAGE New Trailer Chris Redfield

Ahead of their E3 2021 Showcase, Capcom has seemingly confirmed that Resident Evil Village DLC is on the way. We don’t know what’s coming, but Capcom has shared a few details of what they plan to bring to The ESA’s all-digital event and it’s good news for fans of Ethan Winter’s latest outing.

Resident Evil Village DLC Confirmed

Okay, we don’t technically have actual confirmation that Resident Evil Village DLC is going to make an appearance at E3 2021. However, Capcom has confirmed that Resident Evil Village is going to make an appearance.

As the title is already out and has been for a little while, it’s a fairly safe assumption to guess that we’re going to see some kind of Resident Evil Village DLC or expansion shown.

Resident Evil VII: Biohazard had quite a few bits of DLC and Capcom would be foolish to not consider expanding on the fantastic title they’ve built with the newer release. Capcom’s E3 2021 Showcase is due to be broadcast on June 14th at 14:30 PST / 17:30 EST / 22:30 BST. So, not long to wait.

Capcom @ E3 2021

This wasn’t the only bit of information Capcom shared, though. Alongside the announcement that Resident Evil Village was going to make an appearance at E3 2021, they also confirmed that…

Monster Hunter Rise is going to appear, meaning we should see more about the future content updates that will be coming to the Switch-exclusive title. We could also see a Windows PC release window announced, as we know that the latest Monster Hunter game is due to be ported to PC platforms at some point in the future.

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is also going to make an appearance in some capacity. We can imagine this will entail a few more details and another trailer, but nothing too drastic. The game is due to release on July 9th, so we could even see a demo announced at E3 2021.

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles is also due to appear as one of the titles in Capcom’s line-up and we can’t wait to see more from this title! It’s all about Phoenix Wright’s ancestor, Ryunosuke Naruhodo, and his own courtroom adventure! This is due to release in July, but we still don’t have a specific date. It’s not just coming out on Nintendo Switch either, so this could be big news for Steam gamers too.
