Pokemon Go is holding another Spotlight hour soon, and it’s going to be a great chance to get Shiny Dwebble for thsoe Dwebble fans out there.

As an additional bonus, capture EXP during the hour is doubled.

When is the Spotlight hour?

The spotlight hour for Dwebble will take place on the 1st of June at 6:00 PM local time, and ends an hour later at 7:00 PM local time.

Fairly standard stuff for a spotlight hour, though it is starting a bit early in the month. As a reminder, local time means it’ll be the time specified for you – wherever you are in the world – when the event starts.

Pokemon Go Shiny Dwebble Spotlight hours event details

Just like other spotlight hours, this event will be fairly simple.

You get one hour, and that hour will be absolutely filled with nothing but Dwebble. That’s the focus and entire point of the event. It’s not a hugely complex deal, simply capture as many or as few Dwebble as you want/need within the hour.

The above makes these hours great if you just want a specific shiny or high stat Pokemon.

It should be noted that these hours typically come with an additional bonus as well, and that remains true in this case. If you missed it above, the bonus for the duration of this spotlight hour will be doubled capture experience. That means each caught Dwebble will be worth twice as much as they would otherwise.

Does the event have anything else?

Outside of the doubled experience on capture, no, this event doesn’t offer a whole lot.

These spotlight hours are in all honesty quite basic events. They are however absolutely great if you really like the Pokemon they focus on; if you want a high stat or shiny version of it they can be an absolute godsend.

It’s certainly not the most visually distinct from it’s original form. The difference is actually quite similar to Paras versus its shiny variant, which isn’t encouraging. That said, I’m sure someone out there will want a slightly more orange Dwebble for their collection.
