Pokemon BDSP: How to unlock Ramanas Park

Pokemon BDSP Ramanas Park

The Sinnoh region’s Pal Park is a thing of the past – for all the things that have been faithfully recreated in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, this area isn’t one of them. Now, Ramanas Park stands in its place and offers you the perfect chance to catch all the Legendary Pokemon from Hoen, Johto, and Kanto. We have everything you need to know about how you can unlock Ramanas Park.

How to unlock Ramanas Park in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

First things first, you need to battle and beat the Elite Four of the Sinnoh region. You’ll be able to take them on after you battle all eight Gym Leaders and this should all be fairly linear in terms of the narrative in both games.

When you’ve done this, you’re going to need to finish your Pokedex and acquire the National Dex. There’s 150 Pokemon for you to register, but you don’t need to actually catch them all – a Pokemon is going to be registered just by encountering it. So, in theory, if you’ve battled as many Trainers as you can throughout your journey through Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl… You should be nearing completion.

When you’ve finished this, you can get the National Dex from Professor Rowan in Sandgem Town. This should trigger Professor Oak’s appearance who will give you the Pokeradar and the National Dex. He’ll also mention Ramanas Park on his way out, which is at the end of Route 221 and you will now be able to access it.

Finding Legendary Pokemon in Ramanas Park isn’t going to be as easy as just wandering around, but you can increase your chances with relevant items or just by getting very lucky – It’s worth checking out either way.
