Pokemon BDSP Evolution Guide: Where to Get Shiny Stone

Are you ready to take on the Elite Four again, Trainers? Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl have both just dropped and it’s time to dive into all the adventures of the Sinnoh Region again. There are quite a few changes between these new remasters and the originals, however… there is quite a lot that’s the same. If you want to get your hands on a Shiny Stone in these titles, we have everything you need to know.

Where to Get the Shiny Stone Evolution Item

There are two ways for you to get your hands on the Shiny Stone in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl – Through Iron Island and Route 228.

If you enter Iron Island’s cave, you need to head to the staircase to the right and continue to follow the path until you head down a couple of elevators and staircases. There should be a Shiny Stone lying on the ground after following the pathway to its end.

On Route 228, you can head through the tall grass to the north of the exit to Route 229. You’ll need a bike for the next stage, though. Ignore the first slope you passed and go up the second slope with your bike. Then, cross the path you previously went under to find a Shiny Stone.

Shiny Stone Evolution Uses

In Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl, you can access the following Shiny Stone Pokemon evolutions:

  • Togekiss
    • From Togetic;
  • Roserade
    • From Roselia;

Alternatively, you can excavate all the Evolution Stones in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl from the Grand Underground – following the conclusion of the main portion of the game. You can access the Grand Underground by speaking to the Underground Man in the house next to the Pokemon Center in Eterna City and getting the Explorer’s Kit.
