New Pokemon Snap is finally here, 21 years after the release of the previous game in the series, Pokemon Snap which was released way back in 1999 on N64.

It has been a long time since Professor Oak has guided us through our journey, and now has been replaced by Professor Mirror.

But, who is Professor Mirror?

Who Is Professor Mirror?

Professor Mirror is the professor of the Lental region, the region that New Pokemon Snap is set in.

He guides the player through the game, giving them equipment such as the camera, while also rating and judging the photographs that you bring back to him.

Mirror works alongside his assistant Rita to study Pokemon in their natural habitat at the Laboratory of Ecology and Natural Sciences, or L.E.N.S. for short.

Professor Mirror does bare a striking resemblance to Todd Snap, the protagonist of the first Pokemon Snap game, but it hasn’t been confirmed by Nintendo or in-game that it is the same person, but he definitely looks similar.
