New Pokemon trading card game sets, known as Skyscraping Perfect and Blue Sky Stream, have confirmed Dragon-types return to the Pokemon TCG!

The Pokemon trading card game has seen a massive uptick in popularity in the last year and in order to capitalize on the constant success of the franchise, new elements are always being introduced in the Pokemon TCG as new sets are released.

As new elements are released however, that often means we see less of old elements as time goes on, either for balancing reasons or just due to the power scaling of the game itself, as has been the case with plenty of features of previous sets within the Pokemon TCG.

Like Fairy-type Pokemon, Dragon-type Pokemon have been missing entirely from the Sword & Shield block. As potent options with high utility, their removal was justified to some and their fate has been uncertain, as no one has known whether or not they would be making a comeback.

These sets will focus on Gmax Duraludon and Rayquaza in each of their perspective sets, and will also continue to utilize the new Single Strike, Rapid Strike feature introduced in Battle Styles.
