The Sims 5 on EA Play is a bit of a pipe dream at the moment, but that doesn’t mean we won’t be finding something out about the upcoming title from EA soon! Below, we have everything you need to know about when you can expect to see more from EA and The Sims 5.

Of course, EA could drop news about EA Play and The Sims 5 at any time. However, we think we know when the next snippets of information are likely to drop.

There is an Earnings Conference Call scheduled for May 11th, 2021, and this is when we’re likely to hear any news about The Sims 5 and EA Play.

Although these do cover some business aspects that regular players won’t find too entertaining, there is also always some sort of new information divulged in these conversations.

Whether that be an updated release schedule or the announcement of a new sequel, something always pops up.

We can’t confirm whether this will be The Sims 5 related, but it might be.

EA appear to be doubling down on The Sims 4 with constant updates and content expansions dropping, however that doesn’t mean The Sims 5 is an impossible dream.

Sims games have long lifetimes and even after the sequels are out, the older titles still maintain a consistent player base and modding support from the community.

We can’t imagine EA are in a rush to develop and release The Sims 5, but it would be stupid for them not to be working on it given the popularity of the series.
