As usual, Pokemon Masters EX is not letting up with events as a new week rolls around. As the co-op 3-star rock-type Gear event continues, two new events have gone live as of June 12th, 2021.

A new egg event has begun with a focus on rock-type and ground-type Pokemon, with the player character able to form sync-pairs with Cubone, Sandshrew, and the prehistoric Pokemon Omanyte and Aerodactyl. Omanyte, Cubone, and Aerodactyl each also have a chance of their shiny forms appearing from eggs to form sync pairs with the player character.

A special sync-pair spotlight scout will also be running in conjunction with the egg event. The spotlight rock-type sync pairs being focused on are Professor Kukui & Lycanroc and Olivia & Lycanroc, as well as the addition of Olivia & Lycanroc’s 6-star EX outfit. Make sure to take advantage of this Pokemon Masters EX event and scout some powerful Sync-Pairs!

The Legendary Arena also updates as the powerful fire-type Moltres returns. Moltres is a lethal special attacker that utilizes weather bonuses and skills to devastating effects. Moltres is weak to rock type moves during it’s first and its last health bars, while being weak to water during its second health bar.

Try to make use of weather effects to mitigate it’s own use of Sunny Day, as well as flinching or some other means of preventing it from attacking as much. Since rock-type sync pairs are the focus of multiple events right now, taking down Moltres should be easy as Arctic-Uno, Zap-Dos, Mol-Tres!

These events may not technically be new events, but players should be sure to take advantage of the many events running concurrently to collect and power up your rock-type sync pairs to take out Moltres and gather tons of rewards, including Gems and 5-star power-up tickets.
