Dead Space is often looked back on very fondly among gamers, a sci-fi series that was fairly popular during the Xbox 360 and PS3 era. EA decided to cancel Dead Space 4 due to declining sales after Dead Space 3 didn’t perform as well as expected, this was partly due to EA forcing microtransactions into every game during this time period.

This means that we haven’t seen a new game in the series since 2013, but that could all be changing very soon.

Prominent leaker Tom Henderson has revealed that we can expect to see a new Dead Space game revealed at the upcoming EA Play Live event.

In a tweet, Tom Henderson casually announced the potential reveal saying, “We’re getting a new Dead Space game revealed at EA Play.”

While we can never take leaks as 100% factual, Tom Henderson has had a great track record when it comes to leaking information. He has long leaked Battlefield news and was largely accurate when it came to the upcoming Battlefield 2042, so this new information certainly has weight to it.

EA Play Live is EA’s upcoming event that is set to take place on July 22nd. In recent years we have seen EA choose to opt out of E3 in favour of holding their own presentations.

At the event we can expect to see news on the upcoming Battlefield 2042, as well as the reveal of The Sims 5, new Skate 4 information, as well as news on their upcoming sports titles including FIFA 22 and NBA Live 22.

There has been rumours that we could see either Star Wars Battlefront 3 or Titanfall 3 revealed, but no leaks so far have suggested that we will see them at the event, but it is a possibility.

EA Play Live will be watchable on their YouTube channel on July 22nd.
