Will Elder Scrolls 6 be an Xbox exclusive? With the recent confirmation of Xbox acquiring Bethesda, there have been some recent talks about Bethesda games becoming Xbox exclusive. This had led to some people wondering if Elder Scrolls 6 will be exclusive to the Microsoft-owned platform, but is it?

In a recent blog post from Phil Spencer, he states:

“This is the next step in building an industry-leading first party studios team, a commitment we have to our Xbox community. With the addition of the Bethesda creative teams, gamers should know that Xbox consoles, PC, and Game Pass will be the best place to experience new Bethesda games, including some new titles in the future that will be exclusive to Xbox and PC players.”

So it does look like there will be some Bethesda games that will, in fact, launch on Xbox Game Pass, as Xbox and PC exclusives. With the announcement that there will actually be Xbox and PC exclusive Bethesda games, will Elder Scrolls 6 be one of them?

This acquisition of Bethesda by Xbox is clearly a plan to drive people away from PlayStation as Bethesda is the developer of so many popular titles such as DOOM, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Fallout, and Deathloop.

If Xbox does manage to get their hands on major titles and franchises such as DOOM, Fallout, The Elder Scrolls, and other major Bethesda titles, this could see a major shift in the console wars between Xbox and PlayStation.

Is Elder Scrolls 6 Exclusive to Xbox?

While Elder Scrolls 6 has yet to be released, it has been all but confirmed that the game will be coming to Xbox One, PC, and yes, probably PlayStation 4. So The Elder Scrolls 6 will probably not be exclusive to Xbox and PC systems.

While we’re still waiting to find out if The Elder Scrolls 6 will be exclusive to Xbox, there are sure to be plenty of great Bethesda games that have been confirmed to be added to Xbox Game Pass later this week, according to Phil Spencer.
