LATEST – Mayhem 8v8 Is On For Two Weeks
The Destruction AllStars Patch Notes have just dropped and they confirm how long Mayhem 8v8 is going to be playable for.
According to Lucid Games, Mayhem 8v8 is going to be available for two weeks!
That means you can play Mayhem with your Party on Destruction AllStars from March 11th, 2021, until March 25th, 2021!
That isn’t to say it won’t be back in the future if there’s a positive response, but it’s clear that Lucid Games are aiming to have a constant rotation of guest game modes to keep things fresh for regular players!
We just hope they open up the standard Mayhem playlist to party play!
Can You Play Mayhem In A Party On Destruction AllStars?
As it stands, the standard Mayhem playlist is only for solo players sadly.
Alongside Gridfall, Mayhem is one of the standard solo playlists available at the moment. It is joined by Stockpile and Carnado, the two 8v8 modes that you can play with a party.
When you party up with someone on Destruction AllStars, it should lock both Mayhem and Gridfall.
There is a UI glitch that makes it appear unlocked and not greyed-out like it should be, but this doesn’t mean you can launch into the game.

It will work in the same way that Mayhem Solo does, but in two teams. Mayhem is the ultimate way to play Destruction AllStars and is a perfect representation of the game’s core gameplay.
