If you have a Mac, you might want to know how to play Among Us. It’s the game that literally sky-rocketed to an unreal level of popularity over the last year and has quickly become one of the best party games out there.

Below, we have everything you need to know about to play InnerSloth’s awesome Among Us on a Mac.

Among Us On Mac – Method One

This may go against the whole point of having a Mac in the first place, but you can actually install Windows on a Mac if you want to play unsupported games on the MacOS.

This means, one way you can do this is by installing Windows on your Mac to play among Us.

Below, we have a step-by-step for you to follow that should solve all your issues:

  1. Download the official ISO file of Windows 10 from Microsoft here and save it to your Mac.
  2. If you don’t have a DVD Driver, get a USB with at least 5GB of storage space and plug it in.
  3. Disconnect all other storage devices before continuing.
  4. Launch “Boot Camp Assistant” and check the following boxes:

    ” Download the latest Windows support software for Apple”

    ” Install Windows”
  5. Locate the Windows ISO file from earlier and then choose your USB stick as the location.
  6. Decide how much storage you want to reserve for Windows. At least 15GB should do the trick!
  7. Follow the step-by-step on installing Windows to your Mac
  8. Download Steam through their official site here and then download Among Us from steam!

Alternatively, though, you can use an Android emulator to play Among Us’ mobile version on your Mac. This is exactly the same and we’ll explain how you can do that below.

Among Us On Mac – Method Two

Among Us is currently available on the Google Play Storefront and this is your ticket to playing it on a Mac via an Android Emulator.

This method is a fantastic one as it’s a little simpler than the first method, but obviously limits you to Android emulation. If you want to play more than Among Us, the first method might be more worth your time.

Anyway. Below we have another step-by-step that should make everything pretty simple for you.

  1. Download an Android Emulator for Mac ( Ie. Bluestacks from their official website)
  2. Follow the standard step-by-step installation procedure.
  3. Create a Google Account if you don’t have one, otherwise you won’t be able to access and download from the Play Store!
  4. Answer the questions the emulator asks you and you should be on the ” Android ” home screen.
  5. Navigate to the Google Play Store and download Among Us for free.
  6. Close the Play Store via the top of the screen like you would on an actual Android and launch Among Us from the home page.

Among Us on mobile devices has keyboard support that replicates the controls of the PC version of the game too.
