Halo Infinite System Requirements

For those who don’t really bother to check System Requirements for the games that they plan on buying – that’s fine, the information is just there to help you make a more informed process on how the game will run for you in particular before you buy it.

Of course, thanks to Steams generous refund policy, it’s quite easy to simply buy and return a game if it doesn’t work for you, so people rely on them less than simply trying the game.

Regardless, for anyone interested, here are the minimum and recommended system requirements for Halo Infinite.

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 10 19H2 x64
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X or Intel i7-9700k
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM

For some context, the Ryzen 7 3700x processor came out in the middle of 2019, so we’re talking about some fairly recent hardware for those recommended specs to run the game well.

Meanwhile for storage, it’s worth noting that Steam games are usually compressed well enough that the download size is typically smaller than the storage amount listed, but you should plan on having about that much space available anyway to make sure the game can unpack and install properly.

Is there anything else to be aware of?

That’s about everything there is to know for System Requirements, they’re a pretty simple topic typically – just a list of hardware specs you’ll want for the game to run well. If you’re not particularly into PC gaming then they can be hard to really understand.

That said, the storage line is always worth a look to make sure you can fit the game on your system, and the Graphics/Processor lines can be extremely useful for gauging if your system is modern enough for a new game.
