In November 2020 we saw the release of the next-generations of consoles, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, as well as the launch of the latest GPUs, the Nvidia RTX 30 series and AMD’s RX 6000 series.

These releases saw a vast improvement in visual and performance quality, really furthering the gap with the last-gen systems.

Both next-gen consoles, and the new GPUs, offer Ray Tracing technology, as well as DLSS, which improve visuals while maintaining, and even improving, performance.

With the current rumoured release date of GTA 6 being in late 2023, it means that the current-gen consoles will be three years old by that point and the last-gen consoles should be getting phased out.

This means that we will definitely see GTA 6 release on Xbox Series X|S.
