Genshin Impact 3.0: New leak supports Zhongli and Ganyu banner re-runs, adds Kokomi to the list

Last week, reliable Genshin Impact leaker @SaveYourPrimos got the hopes up of Zhongli and Ganyu “wanters.” Through a Twitter thread, the leaker shared that the two popular characters will have banner re-runs in time for Sumeru‘s release or during the highly anticipated version 3.0.
Recently, a new leak has supported the possibility for these banner re-runs to take place. The Twitter page of @SpendYourPrimos, the side account of @SaveYourPrimos, confirmed these upcoming banner re-runs. The recent tweet also mentioned that Uncle Chasm, another reliable leaker, reported this information and that they have been “given permission to share the news.”

However, while the previous tweet mentioned the possibility of having three (3) phases similar to what happened in Genshin Impact 1.3, the new leak states that there will only be two.
It also appears that Zhongli and Ganyu won’t be the only 5-star characters who will be having their banner re-runs by that time. According to the tweet, the 1st phase will feature Zhongli and the new 5-star Dendro character Tighnari. As for the 2nd phase, the tweet says that Kokomi will also return to the game with Ganyu.
As two (2) of the most popular characters, having the banners of Ganyu and Zhongli in one update already sounds like a tough decision for players who only have enough Primogems to wish for one. The decision-making process will prove to be even tougher now that Kokomi, a good Hydro applicator and one of the few 5-star healers in the game, appears to be coming to 3.0 as well.
Genshin Impact is an action role-playing game developed by miHoyo, also known as HoYoverse. The game is available for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Android, iOS, and PlayStation 5, while a release on Nintendo Switch is currently in the works.
