Genshin Impact to add more TCG cards in Version 3.5

Genshin Impact‘s Genius Invokation TCG players will soon have to update their decks as HoYoverse announces the addition of more TCG cards in Version 3.5. These cards include new character and equipment cards that will surely bring out new strategies for the permanent game mode.
Released in Version 3.3, the Genius Invokation TCG mode has brought something new to Genshin Impact. This permanent game mode allows players to duel against NPCs or other players in a tabletop card duel. Although rewards are obtained only by playing against NPCs, it’s still a great way of showcasing strategy and tactics when dueling with other players.
While the number of Character Cards in this game mode currently does not equate to the actual number of the game’s playable characters, HoYoverse continuously adds more cards and possibilities to TCG, such as the addition of the Klee and Beidou character cards in Version 3.4.

New TCG cards in Version 3.5 include Character Cards for Eula, Kokomi, and Kujou Sara
In a recent tweet, HoYoverse announced that the new TCG cards in Version 3.5 will include Eula, Kokomi, and Kujou Sara, each with their respective Talent Cards. The China-based game developer also shared the upcoming cards’ details.
Like her usual role as a playable character, the Eula Character Card is designed to deal significant Physical DMG.
The Kokomi and Kujou Sara Character Cards also show this consistency with actual in-game roles. Kokomi can summon her Bake-Kurage that deals DMG to an opponent’s Character Card while healing the friendly one. On the other hand, Kujou Sara can provide a DMG buff for a friendly active Character Card.
Apart from new Character and Talent TCG Cards in Version 3.5, new Equipment Cards have also been introduced. These are the General’s Ancient Helm and the Ornate Kabuto.

On another note, many fans of the 5-star Cryo character Eula have been disappointed that the Captain of the Reconnaissance Company was not announced to have her banner rerun in Version 3.5. This is despite the fact that Mika, a new Physical Support unit, will become available in the upcoming version’s second phase.
However, is Eula’s inclusion as one of the TCG cards in Version 3.5 a sign that she will be coming back in Version 3.6? Only time will tell, and perhaps it’s best to play some Genshin Invokation TCG while waiting for further announcements.
Genshin Impact is an action role-playing game developed by miHoyo, also known as HoYoverse. The game is available on PC, PS4, PS5, iOS, and Android, while a release on Nintendo Switch is currently in the works.
