Genshin Impact: How to “Seize Destiny” in The Ancient Azure Stars

Just when you thought that you’re done with the most complicated puzzles in Mona‘s mirage, The Ancient Azure Stars quest in Genshin Impact now wants us to “Seize Destiny.”

With all the quests that we have taken in Teyvat so far, this is one, if not the most unclear quest step of all. It’s probably even more unclear than Mona‘s scryglass when you first arrived in the Golden Apple Archipelago. Seizing your destiny is something that’s not easy to do in real life, and more can be said in a game where you need to do specific things to make progress.

However, this quest step is actually pretty easy. If you’re wondering what to do in this part of the quest, we’ll let you know exactly what to look for and do.

How to “Seize Destiny” in Genshin Impact’s The Ancient Azure Stars

Solving the four Astral Puzzles in Mona’s mirage is not an easy feat. With all of them cleared, the water in the pool will dry up, giving you access to more areas to explore. It is here where you’ll be transported to Mona’s room and find a strange ornament that will eventually lead you to a seemingly endless space filled with stars.

After everyone is done talking in a cutscene, the quest will tell you to “Seize Destiny.” To solve this, you only need to do the following:

Step 1: Look for a star that moves around. While there are countless stars in this area and all of them are moving, only one among them is actually moving or traveling around. Compared to other stars, this one appears to have a “tail,” caused by its moving around the space.

Step 2: Go to the star and seize it. To seize destiny, you only need to be close enough to the star, then click “Capture.”

You see! That’s how easy it is to seize your destiny during the Ancient Azure Stars quest in Genshin Impact. If that’s how easy it is in real life, we’d all be running around by now, capturing stars!
