Paper Theater is one of the four sub-events of The Exquisite Night Chimes, the flagship event of Genshin Impact Version 3.4. In this theater-inspired mini-game, you will have to help the Valiant Bearded Hero make his way across obstacles by moving the sections of the stage.

Day 4 of the Paper Theater sub-event is called Adeptus Ex, and it brings players new challenges to complete and objectives to meet. However, while they are fun, they can also be quite challenging.

How to complete Adeptus Ex Scene 3

To complete Adeptus Ex Scene 3, follow the steps below. We have also assigned a number for each stage section for your reference. However, note that the Section Number changes as the tiles are exchanged.

Scene Story“Nanfeng” is found, past matters are past; I go now with the adepti at last.
ObjectiveGet the key and go to Nanfeng.

This scene is more complicated than Adeptus Ex Scene 2, so make sure to read and follow the steps carefully.

STEP 1: While the hero is inside Section 4, swap Sections 1 and 4.

STEP 2: While the hero is inside Section 2 (BEFORE jumping down the hole), swap Sections 1 and 5. This will place the button in the lower middle section of the stage.

STEP 3: Let the hero activate the mechanism and wait until he reaches Section 6. Then swap Sections 4 and 5.

STEP 4: When the hero returns to Section 5, swap Sections 1 and 5.

STEP 5: Before the hero jumps down the hole in Section 1, swap Sections 4 and 6. Then, let the hero drop so he can pick the key on top of the vase.

STEP 6: While the hero is in Section 4, swap Sections 4 and 6 again.

STEP 7: When the hero enters Section 5, swap Sections 4 and 5.

STEP 8: As soon as the hero faces the right side inside Section 4, swap Sections 4 and 2.

STEP 9: Wait for the hero to reach Nanfeng.
