Genshin Impact: Nahida’s Hold Elemental Skill leaked

With the recent reveal of Nahida‘s official artwork, it’s impossible for some crumbs about the Dendro Archon‘s abilities to avoid being leaked to the playerbase. And just as expected, a new leak shows what the upcoming playable character can do, with an image revealing what her Hold Elemental Skill looks like.

Known leaker Ubatcha previously talked about the similarity of Nahida’s Elemental Skill to the mechanic of the recent Fayz Trials event, where the Archon can take a picture of enemies, deal damage, and mark them. The leaker also mentioned that triggering Elemental Reactions against these marked enemies would deal more damage.

With the comparison to the Fayz Trials event and with a little imagination, picturing out how this could look like in battle is probably an easy thing to do. However, it appears that no more imagining needs to be done as the supposed in-game image of this ability has been shared online.

Leaker reveals Nahida’s Hold Elemental Skill

Just recently, the same leaker (Ubatcha) tweeted an image of Nahida’s Hold Elemental Skill, saying:

Just as previously described by the leaker, Nahida, also known as Lesser Lord Kusanali, could be seen “taking a picture” of a certain area. While this is undeniably a unique Hold Elemental Skill, it can also be said that the in-game camera angle while executing so is not entirely new.

Looking at it, this ability, or its hold version at least, can be compared to doing Charged Attacks when using bow characters or adjusting the skill placement when holding the Elemental Skills of characters such as Itto, Gorou, and even the Geo Traveler.

If the mechanic for this ability is indeed similar to the mentioned characters, then the Hold Elemental Skill will not make any difference in its damage or effect. Presumably, the only difference that holding the Elemental Skill can bring is better aiming.

Aside from this, no further details were shared about Nahida’s Elemental Skill, but the image does give an idea about her gameplay. Nonetheless, fans should be reminded that the image is only a leak and should be taken with a grain of salt.
