The second phase of Genshin Impact 3.5 is just around the corner, and with this phase comes the new Cryo character Mika, the Surveyor of the Knights of Favonius!

This upcoming Genshin Impact character first appeared in-game during Mondstadt’s Weinlesefest in Version 3.1 and made another appearance during the Windblume Festival in Version 3.5.

If you missed both events or are simply excited about this new character, then you better check out the new Mika Character Demo!

Mika Character Demo

As usual, the new Mika Character Demo gives players an insight into the upcoming 4-star Cryo character’s personality and kit. It started off with Mika saying that he had always wanted to be a cartographer and be able to “map out every corner of Teyvat,” thus taking the position of the Surveyor of the Knights of Favonius.

Mika may have a small frame, but his Normal Attacks show that he can wield the polearm and the crossbow! Although, his weapon of choice is the polearm, as previously leaked. He also has an Elemental Burst with an animation of him opening his book, saying, “Let’s keep going, team!”

If anything, this voice line goes to show that he is designed to play a supportive role. In fact, it has been revealed that he can increase the party’s ATK speed, buff Physical DMG, and provide healing!

At the end of the video, it started to rain, and Mika hoped it wouldn’t get too muddy. Otherwise, he’d “need to help everyone clean their boots.” It can be assumed that cleaning the knights’ boots is one of those tasks that Grand Master Varka randomly throws at him.

Did the Mika Character Demo excite you for his arrival? The wait is almost over! Genshin Impact 3.5 Phase 2 will be released soon. If you’re interested in the banners for the upcoming patch, be sure to check out what you can expect from the Version 3.5 Phase 2 banners here.
