Genshin Impact leaks reveal Lyney and Lynette rarity and weapon type

First seen as the featured Fontaine characters in the Teyvat Chapter Storyline Preview: Travail, Lyney and Lynette are presumed to be siblings in Genshin Impact. The two are dressed in clothes that depict that of performing magicians, with Lyney wearing a top hat and Lynette having cat-like features.
As the Archon Quest of Sumeru ends, it is expected that the game will lead Travelers to Fontaine by the second half of the year, and Lyney and Lynette are most likely to be among the early characters from the nation where the Hydro Archon resides.
However, while it was previously believed that the duo would be the first two-in-one characters in Genshin Impact, recent leaks suggest otherwise.

Lyney and Lynette rarity and weapon type revealed
Known leaker Mero has recently revealed early details about the characters Lyney and Lynette from Fontaine. According to the leaker, Lyney is a 5-star Pyro Bow user and Lynette is a 4-star Anemo Sword user.
While this leak suggests that the two are separate units rather than two-in-one, their kits have not been revealed yet. Therefore, it is still unclear whether or not they would still work well as a pair.
Earlier speculations about Lyney and Lynette include being affiliated with the Fatui Harbingers. However, when all the Fatui Harbingers have been revealed in the teaser called A Winter Night’s Lazzo, the presumed siblings were nowhere to be seen. Still, this doesn’t stop fans from theorizing that the two are somehow related to the Fatui Harbinger known as The Marionette.

While it is exciting to know some leaks about Fontaine characters in Genshin Impact, it is important to note that these are still subject to change and should be taken with a grain of salt.
Genshin Impact is an action role-playing game developed by miHoyo, also known as HoYoverse. The game is available for PC, PS4, PS5, iOS, and Android, while a release on Nintendo Switch is currently in the works.Â
