Genshin Impact leakers say Momoka is a 4-star Dendro character, not 5-star Geo

Without any more Geo characters since the release of Yun Jin in Version 2.4, the rumored arrival of the previously leaked Geo character Momoka has excited a lot of Genshin Impact players.

Momoka is also known as the “Geo Neko Girl,” thanks to her cat-like features. However, it turns out that players can no longer expect a new Geo character in the near future, as known leakers reveal that Momoka is a 4-star Dendro character instead.

Leakers clarify Momoka’s element and rarity

Recent tweets from known leakers Mero and SaveYourPrimos seek to clarify some details about Momoka or the “Geo Neko Girl.” Contrary to what was known about the upcoming character for quite some time, both leakers state that Momoka is a 4-star Dendro character, not 5-star Geo.

In their tweet, leaker Mero apologized for providing “incorrect” information beforehand.

Momoka is not geo, she is a dendro.

As for SaveYourPrimos, the leaker said they wanted to clear up misconceptions about the upcoming character.

There seems to be some confusion, so we'll try to clear a few things up.

According to current information:

Momoka = Inazuma Cat Girl
4? Dendro Sword
3.7 est release date

Previously reported as 5? Geo, with some leaks mentioning her as a Bow user. These are incorrect.

While previous artwork shared by leaker Genshin Mains shows the upcoming character with the Geo Vision dangling from her waist, SaveYourPrimos stated that it was NOT fake. However, SaveYourPrimos stressed that unreleased content is always subject to change and Momoka’s Geo Vision, or any unreleased character’s Visions for that matter “can be swapped out / replaced with ease.”

No, the leaked artwork of Momoka wasn't fake. It's illicitly obtained unreleased content, which is always Subject To Change.

Visions in concept artwork can be swapped out / replaced with ease.

If these new leaks turned out to be true, it would no longer be correct to call Momoka the “Geo Neko Girl.” She might be called “Dendro Neko Girl” in the future, but it can’t be denied that most expecting fans are already used to calling her with the Geo element in mind.
