Genshin Impact Layla and Nahida: Leaker reveals the upcoming characters’ abilities

Less than two days before Genshin Impact Version 3.1 goes live, Hoyoverse has revealed the official artwork of Layla and Nahida, including their titles, elements, and constellations.

Layla and Nahida were previously leaked to be released in Version 3.2. Considering that the game developer only reveals characters’ official artwork when they are next in line for release, it looks like the leaks will be true.

According to the tweet on Genshin Impact‘s official Twitter page, Layla is a Rtawahist student who “specializes in Theoretical Astrology and draws star charts tirelessly to write her thesis.” She also has the moniker “Half-Awake, Half-Asleep, All Incredulous.”

On the other hand, Nahida, also known as the Dendro Archon Lesser Lord Kusanali, is said to have “dwelt deep in the Sanctuary of Surasthana” and that “she had never really been in the limelight, nor had she even been mentioned much.”

Layla and Nahida: Elements, weapon types, constellations, and leaked abilities

Together with their official artwork, Layla and Nahida also had their elements and constellations officially revealed. And as expected, leakers have something to say about their kit as early as now.

It was previously said that Layla would be a Cryo character when her splash art was leaked. With HoYoverse’s recent announcement, this turns outs to be the case. As for her constellation, it has been announced as Luscinia.

While her weapon type has not been revealed yet, known leaker Ubatcha says that Layla is a Cryo sword user like Ayaka. However, Layla appears to be a support character considering that her Elemental Skill, according to the leaker, can make a shield just like Diona‘s. The leaker also likens the upcoming character’s Burst to Lisa‘s and her HP scaling to Thoma‘s.

On the other hand, Nahida, of course, will be a Dendro character. Her constellation has been revealed as Sapientia Oromasdis.

According to Ubatcha and as previously leaked, she will be a Catalyst user. It was also previously leaked that the Dendro Archon would be an incredible Elemental Mastery buffer. If this is true, this might have something to do with her Burst as Ubatcha says that it creates a “huge” area where the other elements will receive a buff.

However, the most interesting thing about Nahida is probably her Elemental Skill. According to the leaker, it will be similar to the recent Fayz Trials event, where she can take a picture of the enemies, deal damage, and mark them.

While Layla and Nahida have been officially revealed, it should be noted that HoYoverse has not officially revealed their abilities yet. Therefore, information about the upcoming character’s abilities should be taken with a grain of salt.
