After more than one month since it was initially announced, the Genshin Impact x Pizza Hut collaboration finally had its release date dropped. Rewards for the unexpected crossover were also revealed.

The announcement was made on bilibili and gives the Genshin Impact community something more to look forward to in the coming weeks.

With the arrival of Sumeru in Genshin Impact 3.0 and the game’s upcoming second anniversary, August and September are undeniably two of the most exciting months this year for fans.

Genshin Impact x Pizza Hut collaboration release date

According to the announcement on bilibili, the Genshin Impact x Pizza Hut collaboration event begins on August 29th and ends on September 17th.

Pizza Hut is definitely something that fans did not expect for Genshin Impact to collaborate with. However, this isn’t the first time that the commercially successful action RPG and a fast food company partnered up.

It can be recalled that Genshin Impact also had the unexpected collaboration with KFC in 2021, where the event-exclusive Wings of Feasting wind glider was given away. While Diluc and Noelle were the stars during that collaboration, the Genshin Impact x Pizza Hut collaboration features Amber and Eula.

Genshin Impact x Pizza Hut collaboration list of rewards

Below is a list of the collaboration’s in-game rewards:

  • 50,000 Mora
  • Chilly Foam Kamera gadget
  • Signboard that counts as furniture
  • Berry Sunset Juices
  • Meat and Mushroom Pizzas
  • Creamy Mushroom Crispy Tarts

On the other hand, the physical items listed below will also be rewarded:

  • Pizza box design (takeout only)
  • Limited merchandise plates
  • Limited edition gift card
  • Limited edition privilege card
  • Mousepads

To redeem these items, fans will need to purchase meal packages from participating Pizza Hut branches. However, similar to the early phases of the KFC crossover last year, the rewards for the Genshin Impact x Pizza Hut collaboration is currently only offered to those who are located in China.

While there is a possibility that some of the in-game items will also be released globally like the KFC glider, this hasn’t been confirmed yet as of writing.

Genshin Impact is developed by miHoyo, also now known as HoYoverse. The game is available for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Android, iOS, and PlayStation 5 while a release on Nintendo Switch is currently under development.
