Genshin Impact: Will Collei be a Playable Character?

Arguably the main character of the Genshin Impact Manga, Collei, with her quest for vengeance, is definitely someone players would want to see in-game.
But will we ever see her in the game world of Teyvat? What are the odds?

Collei: Lore
Born as a sickly child, Collei was sent by her parents to the seer Barnabas. They begged him to save her, upon which Barnabas tells them that she was touched by a supernatural creature called a deev. Barnabas also told the family that they should give their daughter to him for her to be saved.
Believing the seer, Collei’s parents handed her to Barnabas. But unknown to them, the seer was working with Dottore, one of the Fatui Harbingers. And instead of saving Collei, she was cruelly used as a test subject and was experimented with Archon Residue.
It was not clear how Collei began her travels as it was not stated whether the Fatui freed her or if she managed to escape, but one thing is for sure: she was seeking revenge.
While she wasn’t born with a Vision, the experiments with Archon Residue allow her to cast powerful magical abilities.
Collei: Will she be available in-game?
As of now, Collei is not a playable character, nor has she been mentioned in the game. However, with the leaks of an upcoming new region (Sumeru), we might see her in-game soon.

In fact, @SaveYourPrimos tweeted that Collei’s skills are reportedly done.
As for her abilities, it looks like she remains not having a “Vision.” Instead, @SaveYourPrimos says that an an “Elemental Burst Gadget” is associated with her.
With some manga characters also playable in-game and with Collei being an important character in the manga, the chances that Hoyoverse will make her a playable character is a big possibility, fingers crossed!
