Alhaitham is one of the upcoming playable characters in Genshin Impact. While currently a non-player character (NPC), he has made a recent appearance in the game and has already become a fan favorite. This appearance also stirred many questions, including who the voice actors of Alhaitham are.

If you’re one of Alhaitham‘s “wanters,” you must have been searching for leaks about him. However, we are still waiting for his animation showcase, like what Nilou and Cyno recently had.

We know he is a Dendro user based on the Vision dangling from his left shoulder. Moreover, as shown in the Sumeru Promotional Video, he appears to be a sword user. Still, his abilities on the battlefield remain a mystery.

That’s why, in the meantime, let’s get to know the voice actors of Alhaitham instead!

Voice actors of Alhaitham in Genshin Impact

This upcoming character hails from the Haravatat of the Sumeru Akademiya and firmly believes in logic and science. This isn’t a surprise, considering Alhaitham is from Sumeru, a nation that worships the God of Wisdom. Moreover, he is most likely named after Hasan Ibn Al-Haytham, a scholar during the Islamic Golden Age referred to as the “father of modern optics.”

As for his design, HoYoverse took inspiration from Su in Honkai Impact 3rd. Therefore, it doesn’t come out as a surprise that one of the voice actors of Alhaitham is Yang Chaoran, who is also Su‘s Chinese voice actor.

On the other hand, Alhaitham‘s voice actor for the game’s Japanese version is the voice actor and singer Yuichiro Umehara. In case you don’t know him, he voiced Ira from the Kingdom Hearts franchise, Weather Report from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean, Goblin Slayer from Goblin Slayer, and Eugene Sevenstark from Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, among many others.

Right now, the voice actor of Alhaitham for the English version is a mystery, and it appears that HoYoverse hasn’t revealed this VA on purpose.

Genshin Impact is an action role-playing game developed by miHoyo, also known as HoYoverse. The game is available on PC, PS4, PS5, iOS, and Android, while a release on Nintendo Switch is currently in the works.
