Genshin Impact: 2.8 Summer Fantasia art leaks, ft. Fischl & Kazuha
Genshin Impact continues to suffer considerable leaks as the featured art for version 2.8 summer fantasia leaks, showing Fischl and Kazuha.
Genshin Impact Summer Fantasia version 2.8 art leak
The art leaks posted by UBatcha to Twitter today reveal that the upcoming version 2.8 patch for Genshin Impact will be titled Summer Fantasia, and features Kazuha, Fischl, Mona, and somewhat surprisingly, Xinyan.
version name for 2.8 being Summer Fantasia, one of the more interesting aspects of this particular example of the many Genshin Impact leaks is the inclusion of Mona and Xinyan.

Mona makes some level of sense as she originally appeared alongside Fischl way back when during the version 1.1 Unreconciled Stars event, but Xinyan is typically a character who hasn’t much screentime in Genshin impact until recently.
]This would also be one of her first major appearances if she ends up being significant to the story here, which her presence in the featured patch 2.8 art would imply.
Aside from seeing them during the event it also means that we’re quite likely to see Fischl and Xinyan at least once each in the banners for version 2.8, possibly alongside Heizou. Little was previously known about the 5* that will be leading the patch as Heizou is a four-star, leaving that slot entirely open for Kazuha to take over in a well-deserved return banner given his huge popularity.
Given her nature as one of the permanent standard banner characters, it seems unlikely we’ll see a Mona banner as a featured option. Though given the previous double banners, it is possible she could run at the same time as Kazuha. It still seems quite unlikely though, as standard banner characters do not seem to appear in the limited banners again once they are featured in standard.
A Kuku Shinobu still was also included alongside the Summer Fantasia 2.8 art leak, with a statement saying that it ‘would be coming soon under the title ‘Shinobu trailer’.
Shinobu is expected to run alongside Itto when he makes an appearance later in 2.7, though if she doesn’t for any reason she might also appear during version 2.8. It’s also just possible that UBatcha wanted to prioritize the pretty significant news of the version 2.8 official art and name having leaked for Genshin Impact over material that we knew we’d be receiving soon for an upcoming character we’ve already met.
