Genshin Impact Time and Wind Quest Guide: How to Reach Nameless Island and Where to Find Cluster of Wind
The world of Teyvat is filled with secret places and hidden treasures that only the best of explorers can find. If you love games with a vast world and love to search every nook and cranny, there’s a lot for you to discover in Genshin Impact.
One such secret place is called the Nameless Island, tucked away to the far east of Mondstadt. Here, you’ll be able to take the quest called Time and Wind and get some rewards upon completion.

How to Reach Nameless Island
As mentioned, Nameless Island is located east of Mondstadt. You can reach this island either by creating an ice bridge with your Cryo characters or gliding from the highest peak of Starsnatch Cliff.
In creating ice bridges, switch in between as many Cryo characters to reach Nameless Island as quickly as possible. Kaeya and Ayaka are recommended here.
Gliding to reach the island, on the other hand, is an easier option. However, it’s going to be a long way it’ll be impossible to reach the island without a little boost from passive talents and/or stamina-related dishes.

If you choose to glide your way towards the island, we recommend that you use Amber or Venti as their passive skills to reduce stamina consumption while gliding. Moreover, you can eat dishes that’ll help in stamina reduction and/or restoration. These include dishes such as Northern Smoked Chicken, Lotus Seed, Bird Egg Soup, and Sticky Honey Roast to name a few.
How to Complete the Time and Wind Quest
Now that you’re in Nameless Island, it’s time to explore and complete the Time and Wind Quest. You can do so by following the steps below:
- Investigate the Sundial on the island.
- Head to the camping spot in the southern part of the island and destroy the breakable rock to find the Ragged Notebook.
- The notebook will give you hints about the quest, and you need to investigate the island between 2 AM and 5 AM. If it’s still going to take a while, just change the time from the Paimon Menu.
- Within the said timeframe, use Elemental Sight and follow the magical traces to find 4 Clusters of Wind (Note: the game mistakenly says 3) located in different areas. The “leaves” on the Sundial indicate the remaining Clusters of Wind that you need to disperse.
- On the southern part of the island, you will find a Cluster of Wind on top of a broken pillar submerged in the water. Use Anemo Skill to disperse it. Note that this can only be done between 2 AM and 5 AM.
- At the northern part of the island, you will find a Cluster of Wind on top of a rock behind a Ruin Guard in the water. Use Anemo Skill to disperse it. Note that this can only be done between 2 AM and 5 AM.
- At the eastern part of the island, you will find a Cluster of Wind on top of the stone arches behind the Sundial. Use Anemo Skill to disperse it. Note that this can only be done between 2 AM and 5 AM.
- The last one can be found on top of the pillar on the right side (if you’re facing the Sundial) of the Sundial. Climb the pillar and use Anemo Skill to disperse the Cluster of Wind. Note that this can only be done between 2 AM and 5 AM.
- Head towards the middle of the island and use Anemo Skill on the Deposit of Wind that appeared.
- Fight the Eye of the Storm.
- Once its HP drops low, it will escape towards Mondstadt. Use the wind current to quickly follow it.
- You’ll eventually reach the south of the Thousand Winds Temple and find another Sundial. Change the time again to 2 AM to 5 AM and use Elemental Sight.
- Use Anemo Skill to disperse the Wind Clusters around the Sundial and defeat the slimes.
- Use Anemo Skill to scatter the Deposit of Wind in front of the Sundial.
- Defeat the Eye of the Storm.
- Once the Eye of the Storm is defeated, you can talk to the nearby NPC Henry Morton to complete the Time and Wind Quest.
