How to Unlock Theater Mechanicus
You can only participate in Theater Mechanicus if:
- You have completed the True Tales Of The Violet Garden: Act 2.
- Your Adventure Rank is at least 30.
Once you’re eligible to participate, you’ll gain access to the quest through the Events Hub Page.
Theater Mechanicus Terms
Below are some important terminologies that are used in the mini-game. Understanding each is vital for meeting its goals.
Veneficus Points
These are points that are required to use Veneficus Mechanicus and Wondrous Sticks.
Note that you start the mini-game with a set amount of Veneficus Points and can earn more by defeating enemies.
Veneficus Mechanicus
These are towers that will attack enemies when placed in any of the slots in the stages. Each Veneficus Mechanicus has an assigned element and will cost Veneficus Points to place, replace, or remove.
Wondrous Sticks
These provide different buffs during a stage. As they also cost Veneficus Points, players need to strategically select them before the start of each round.
Note that some Mechanicus types will not receive buffs from the Wondrous Sticks in some stages. Look out for those and only use those that can have buffs during a stage.

Theater Mechanicus Tips
You can use different Mechanici and execute strategies that you’re comfortable with, but below are some useful tips:
- As freezing makes enemies stay in place, it’s an effective way to maximize damage dealt by your Mechanici.
- Placing Tandem Mines at choke points is highly recommended.
- Blasting enemies into holes can defeat them. One of the characters that can do this is the Anemo Traveler.
