Increasing your reputation in a particular region in Genshin Impact is a great way to obtain awesome rewards. If you’ve been trying to increase your Reputation Level in Sumeru, you must have come across the world quest called The Price from Effendi‘s quest list.

However, while this world quest is pretty easy to complete, unlocking it will require you to look for a Common Chest in the most uncommon of places.

If you’re not sure how to unlock The Price, you’ve come to the right place! In this guide, we’ll tell you how you can start the quest, how you can complete it, and the rewards you’ll get.

How to unlock and complete ‘The Price’ in Genshin Impact

In order to unlock and complete The Price in Genshin Impact, follow the steps below:

STEP 1: Open a Common Chest located on a hotel roof in Port Ormos to find a letter. This is the building where you can find the Hotel Manager named Sareh. Check out the map below for your reference.

STEP 2: “Investigate the usual place.” This area can be found north of Port Ormos. This is marked on your map, so it won’t be difficult to locate. Here, you will find two members of the Fatui who are planning to leave the faction and live normal lives.

STEP 3: “Confront the Fatui.” You simply need to approach Alexandra and Przheva. They will ask you for help, sharing with you their plan about faking their deaths in order to cut ties with the Fatui.

STEP 4: “Investigate the ambush point” to execute your plan. This area is also marked on your map.

STEP 5: “Investigate the call for help.” Instead of proceeding with your plan, you will find Alexandra and a kid in trouble.

STEP 6: “Defeat the monsters.” Here, you will have to fight Winged Dendroshroom x1 and Floating Dendro Fungus x3.

STEP 7: “Talk to Alexandra” and you will have to change plans, considering that Alexandra sustained some injuries.

STEP 8: “Take Nika to The Eremites.” Here, you will be taking the kid to the nearby Eremite mercenary for help.

STEP 9: “Go back and check on Alexandra.” When you go back, however, Alexandra and Przheva are already gone.

When you no longer find the duo in the area, the quest ends. However, Przheva previously said that he would leave a letter if they managed to get away. With this, you can go back to the hotel and find an unsigned note, thanking the Traveler and saying that an old ship left. This is the same building where you can find the Common Chest. Finding the note will unlock the Date of Departure achievement.
