Genshin Impact: Su leak reveals a possible appearance, not a 3.0 release

Genshin Impact leaks have been suggesting Su from Honkai Impact will be appearing soon, but the latest leak shows a bit more detail on this upcoming character.

Does the leak say if Su is coming to Genshin Impact?

The latest ‘Su’ leak from UBatcha on Twitter seems to imply quite a bit for the upcoming Genshin Impact character, including that their name might not even be Su at all. While that sounds relatively small, that would make quite a difference.

Previously, Fischl moved from Genshin Impact to Honkai Impact for a crossover event, while pretty much being the same character – which coincided with her disappearing from Genshin for quite some time. Meanwhile, the Raiden Shogun Ei of Genshin Impact bears a significant similarity to Raiden Mei of Honkai, but they are not explicitly the same character.

With that bit of detail in mind, given Fischl’s name did not change and her personality was identical when she moved between games, it’s likely that this character will be more of a Raiden Ei-type character. That would mean they are very similar to their Honkai equivalent, but not the same person.

So we don’t have a name to go off right now, leaving us to refer to them as Su or ‘Su-like’ regardless. We do have some new information, for example, we now know that this ‘Su-like’ character will not be making an appearance in patch 3.0 or before this leak.

How Su will look in Genshin Impact

And thanks to a follow-up leak after this original tweet, we have something of an idea of how we can expect Su to look in Genshin Impact, though it’s unfortunately not the best quality.

There’s no more info on this upcoming character for the moment. Given the usual timeframe for character leaks to full release in Genshin Impact, it’s likely we’ll see them sometime during patch 3, though the precise patch number is unclear for the moment.

Genshin rarely has leaks that are many patches into the future though, and information often starts to come out when a character is within 4 or so patches of release. All we can do for now is wait for more leaked information on Su in Genshin Impact.
