Recommended Characters

Staff of the Scarlet Sands is a great option for a polearm character who has a high Elemental Mastery and needs to trigger consistent Elemental Reactions for damage dealing. Of course, as Cyno‘s signature weapon, this is easily the best option for him. To maximize Cyno‘s potential, you might want to check out our Cyno Build Guide here.

On the other hand, Xiangling can greatly benefit from this weapon’s passive as she’s normally built with a decent EM for Melt and Vaporize teams. Whether she’s your Main DPS or off-field Sub-DPS, this weapon is fantastic on her.

The 4-star Dendro character Yaoyao, Xiangling’s junior disciple, can also take advantage of this polearm’s EM passive. As a Dendro unit, Yaoyao can be expected to trigger Elemental Reactions and thus built with some EM. However, since she relies more on the HP stat for her healing, she has better options, such as the Staff of Homa.
