Genshin Impact Playable Characters Tier List (April 2022)

Genshin Impact has an ever-growing roster of playable characters, and it can sometimes be confusing for players to choose who to use, and which roles characters should take. 

In this article, we have ranked the effectiveness of playable characters in terms of being a Main DPS, Sub-DPS, and Support. 

If some characters are not in a specific tier list, it means that we do not suggest them for that role. But it doesn’t mean that you can’t play them however you want as we believe that with the right strategy and build, all playable characters have potential.

That said, below are the April 2022 tier lists for Genshin Impact. 

Note that “S” stands for the strongest or most effective in a specific role and “D” stands for the least effective.
