Also according to u/hzy980512, if you use the data on the purchase page in the store, players are taken to a page where they can see Genshin’s privacy policy.

But, if the fandom suspicions are indeed true, What can the game’s addition to Epic Games Store mean for Genshin Impact?

More Security to Accounts?

Genshin has been having multiple problems with account security on PC for a while now, with that in mind, the move can help the game to improve their account security and help players in general.

Is also good to point out that Epic lets games use their own in-game payment methods, so the only big change for mihoYo would be the change from their official launchers.

Overall, the addition could offer new users for Epic and make the game more accessible and safe for PC.

Cross-save coming to the Sony Consoles?

Something else worth noticing is the fact that Epic offers an option to sync your PlayStation account, which may finally offer the PS4, and PS5 players a cross-save feature with the other platforms.
