Genshin Impact: New leaks feature possible Scaramouche release patch

Scaramouche leaks indicate a possible release patch and date for the fatui harbinger balladeer

Genshin Impact has a constant stream of leaks online, and one of the latest of these concerns a possible release patch for Scaramouche.

What patch might we see Scaramouche release on in Genshin Impact?

While few characters have been as thoroughly leaked as Yae Miko was in advance of her release, The Fatui Harbinger Balladeer, otherwise known as Scaramouche, or Kunikuzushi, seems like a possible contender for that dubious honour in the near future.

Various leaks have been posted into the Wangsheng funeral parlor ‘Sussy-leaks’ channel regarding Scaramouche in the past few days. The most important of which to the Genshin Impact playerbase of course being the potential release date for the Fatui Harbinger, which would make him the second of those to become playable after what happened to Signora shocked the fanbase.

An Alt of ‘Uncle DD’ has suggested that Scaramouche will have his release in patch 3.2 of Genshin Impact, meaning a whole two patches into the release of the Sumeru region – indicating he will be involved in the story of that area as well, after his role in the story of Inazuma.

Uncle DD is a repeat leaker in the funeral parlor server, so this information while posted in ‘Sussy-Leaks’ has me inclined towards belief. Another Leaker only named MrX is credited with saying that Scaramouche will be a 5* Catalyst user and will be released during either 3.1 or 3.2, which further backs up the time frame for the release of the Balladeer.

MrX is also credited with saying that Scaramouche will be a main DPS character, which is a breakaway from a fair few other 5* catalyst users, with Mona being commonly used as a support and Kokomi being a healer. Of course, there’s always Klee who is also a damage-focused character using a catalyst, but that particularly dangerous child is often treated as the exception rather than the rule.

Finally, a third leaker, listed only as Uncle A, offers another possible take with Scaramouche – stating that Scaramouche will not be in a banner until the 2022 Genshin Anniversary event, and will become playable around the end of the Sumeru region.

While it’s not impossible for these leaks to align with those from Uncle DD, taken both together as truthful information would mean that 3.2 will be patch version during the 2022 Anniversary event for Genshin Impact, and Sumeru will largely be finished up by patch 3.2. It’s difficult to say if that’ll all be true, but that timeline is certainly quite tight if that is the case.
