Genshin Impact: New food dishes and Yae speciality leak

Yae miko at the shrine Genshin

Another Genshin Impact leak has dropped, featuring new food items and the version of one of them that Yae will make, her speciality.

New food dishes in Genshin Impact leak early

Two new food dishes coming to Genshin Impact have been leaked ahead of schedule in yet another blow to miHoYo’s ability to control the leakers.

The first food dish is labelled Sangayaki, which from the name I’m expecting to originate in Sangonomiya. It’s another stamina reduction dish, so probably not something most players will take advantage of.

Following on from that, we have Udon Noodles, which are a tier 2 revival food. Notably using flour and seagrass makes it an easy one to farm for, though fish may be a stumbling block for a lot of players given the relative annoyance of creating a large stockpile of it compared to other ingredients, particularly when considering how many dishes use it and the lack of mass-buying options.

Yae Speciality food dish

Meanwhile, Yaes speciality food dish seems to be a spin on the Udon noodles above, requiring the same ingredients with the same effects – which is somewhat curious, as normally speciality dishes are at least somewhat improved in some manner.

It is of course possible that these early leaked images were taken before an effect was added, and it’ll be like other revive items in that you’ll gain a small amount of health on top of the usual effects – or perhaps Yae is a more inventive chef and has an interesting effect that has yet to be added in.

That’s all for this little leak look into some upcoming food items In Genshin, including the speciality of Guuji Yae. As always, if you’d like more Genshin Impact content you can find it right here on The Click in our Genshin category.

If you haven’t yet tried Genshin Impact, you can play the game for free on mobile devices including Android and iOS alongside consoles such as Playstation 4, Playstation 5 and Pc on both miHoYo’s official launcher and Epic Games Store. A Nintendo Switch version is stated to be in development.
