Missive Windspear is heavily focused on the ATK stat. It has a decent base ATK, ATK bonus stat, and another ATK bonus from its passive skill. Therefore, characters who primarily scale with the ATK stat can greatly benefit from it. On top of its impressive ATK stat, Missive Windspear also increases Elemental Mastery, making it a great option for DPS characters who consistently need to trigger Elemental Reactions.
Of course, one such character is Xiangling. She can benefit from all of the ATK bonuses that this polearm provides. On the other hand, she can greatly benefit from the bonus Elemental Mastery as she is usually included in the team to trigger reactions such as Melt and Vaporize.
On the other hand, this weapon is also a good free-to-play option for Cyno. One of the best teams for this 5-star Electro character is the Aggravate Team, where he is paired with an off-field Dendro character to deal massive damage over time. Although she is designed as a support character, the buff she provides for the team scales with her current ATK stat, not base ATK. This means that she can benefit from this weapon’s base ATK, bonus ATK, and passive ATK stats. However, since she is most effective in Freeze Teams, she won’t be able to benefit from the bonus EM. Still, all of the weapon’s ATK bonuses are worth considering.
