Genshin Impact Version 3.1 is just around the corner, and the rumor is that it will take us back to the wine-loving nation of Mondstadt for the Weinlesefest (Wine Festival). Of course, we’ll meet new characters in this version, including a Mondstadter named Mika.

Although his official art hasn’t been revealed yet, the description of Mika‘s design was previously mentioned by SpendYourPrimos, the alternate account of SaveYourPrimos. This led to several artists creating fan art of the Mondstadter.

During that time, no information about his weapon was leaked yet. However, more recent leaks have shared details about the Mondstadt Festival Event and the new Mondstadt character online.

The Mondstadt Festival Event

According to leaker Genshin Intel, the event that will take us back to Mondstadt in Version 3.1 is called Weinlesefest: Festival. The leaker mentioned that it would take place in Springvale and added brief details about the event’s tasks.

Weinlesefest: Festival in Springvale with:

1. Catching boars and other critters
2. Mob camp trails (similar to Moonchase)
3. Store simulator (with business strategy min-maxing)
4. Scavenger hunt w/ text clues

Rewards include 680 primos and Missive Windspear (can be max refined).

While the specifics of these tasks are still unclear, a new weapon called Missive Windspear appears to be one of the event’s rewards. According to Honey Impact, this is a 4-star Polearm with 509.61 ATK and 41.35% ATK at Level 90. Of course, since this hasn’t been officially revealed yet, the details are subject to change.

Mika’s Vision, Weapon, and Release Date

Based on leaks, the chances of Mika’s appearance in Version 3.1 are incredibly high. Known leaker Ubatcha reiterates this in a recent tweet. The leaker even shared what his Vision and weapon would be.

As has been previously mentioned, Mika shows up in 3.1. He is a cryo polearm, I’m unsure of his rarity.

It’s interesting to note that one of the 3.1 Weinlesefest event’s rewards, as mentioned earlier, is reportedly the Missive Windspear. Mika is presumed to make his first appearance during this version, so this could be a weapon specifically designed for him.

As for his Vision, an older tweet by Ubatcha says that the new character used to work for Eula. While this is a little farfetched, this lore can be a supporting detail for his having the Cryo Vision.

However, Mika was not playable in the Genshin Impact 3.1 beta. This means that he could be making his first appearance only as a quest-exclusive NPC similar to Alhaitham, whom we recently met in Version 3.0. At the moment, both characters’ release dates are unknown.
