Genshin Impact: Melt you down like ice cream achievement guide
Melt you down like ice cream is a Genshin Impact achievement requiring you to defeat 4 opponents with Melt reactions within 2 seconds.
Like other Elementalist specialist series achievements, melt you down like ice cream must be completed 10 times in total for the maximum reward of 20 Primogems, plus an additional 15 for previous levels, for a total of 35.
Similarly to a little less shocking than love at first sight, this is probably one of the easier elemental specialist achievements to unlock.
How to get the melt you down like ice cream achievement in Genshin Impact
Melt elemental reactions are the product of Cryo and Pyro, making this achievement one of the easiest in the elemental specialist achievements, as these elements were the most common for playable characters even until patch 3.0 and onwards.
One particularly easy way to earn the melt you down like ice cream achievement is to take Xiangling – a Pyro character freely available to all players beyond a certain point in the story – to the Forsaken Rift domain in Mondstadt.

This particular domain is filled with Cryo slimes throughout but is particularly suitable for this achievement on the tier 1 floors – such as Frosted Altar I.
To reliably make progress, you should build the Pyro character you use for as much elemental mastery as you can manage. Ideally, remove any ATK or CRIT stat boosts you also have equipped, to prevent elemental skill and burst damage stealing kill credit by killing things before the elemental reaction can do so. As the achievement needs a rapid sequence of elemental reaction kills, avoiding other things finishing slimes off makes things far easier.

You can get at least one progress on this domain per attempt by luring the first wave of Cryo slimes to the side of the domain arena and dropping Guoba through Xianglings Elemental skill. If they’re grouped close together, the first wave of fire breath will often get enough melt procs immediately to count for the achievement.

Outside of the first wave, you can also reliably make achievement progress by simply running around with Xianglings elemental burst, Pyronado. If you want to play optimally play for the most progress per domain attempt, you should try to stall killing some of the slimes for a brief period during the burst for the progress counter to reset.
