New leaks regarding the banners in the next update of Genshin Impact have appeared, as the current 2.5 version is already coming to its end and the next Special Program will be soon airing. And as expected, we’ll have Ayato as the main star in the first half of the update.

The beta for 2.6 has also ended, so it would be simply a matter of time until we got information on the banners. Currently, we only got information about the 5-star featured characters and weapons, which is already more than enough.

The next update banners leaks

Lumie has shared on Twitter images of both of the characters who will be featured in the first half of the update, both of them holding their signature weapons, which will be on the Weapon Banner.

Alongside Ayato, Venti will have his second rerun, almost a year after his first return in the 1.4 update. The featured weapons will be the Haran Geppaku Futsu sword, introduced in this update, and the return of the Elegy of The End bow, Venti’s signature weapon.

As previously said, no information was given about the 4-star characters. Razor, Sucrose, and Sayu are the characters who have currently been the longest time away from banners, so we may expect that at least one of them may be featured.

For the second half, we have a hint of what may arrive. Information from the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor discord server suggests the Special Program live stream will be happening on March 18th, 07:00 EST. This was the image illustrating the post:

Ayaka is all ready in time for receiving a rerun, and there’s not a more fitting moment than during her sibling’s debut. Many speculated that both Kamisatos would actually be put together on the banner, but that was not the case.

If this is another 2 characters banner, Ayaka’s partner could be either Kazuha or Yoimiya, who have been released before and after her respectively. Kazuha’s return, in particular, has been highly anticipated, since many people ended up skipping him before knowing his true potential as one of the strongest buffers in the game.
