Genshin Impact Leaks: Scaramouche might get design changes prior to release
Scaramouche is one of the highly anticipated characters in Genshin Impact. One of the infamous Eleven Fatui Harbingers, he gained popularity since he first appeared as the main antagonist in the Unreconciled Stars event during the game’s Version 1.1.
Fans of the Harbinger have been waiting for his arrival as a playable character. However, it has been almost two years since the Traveler first met Scaramouche, and while he also appeared in a few quests, he is still yet to become part of the game’s huge character roster. Luckily, the long wait will soon be over as several leaks hint that he will finally be available in Version 3.3.
Whether the leaks are true or not, Scaramouche is building some hype. However, he might no longer look exactly the same as before. First, it was reported that Scaramouche would be an Anemo character instead of Electro. Now, leaks say that the Harbinger might have some design changes soon.
Design changes for Scaramouche
Known leaker Ziao shared some leaks on Twitter saying that Scaramouche will have design changes before his release.

He covers the left side of his chest with his Anemo Vision. I assume from a design standpoint this is to symbolize the heart which he so desperately craves.
…Also, please do contain yourselves I believe he wears an open chest Kimono.
When asked about Scaramouche‘s color scheme, the leaker said it would be blue instead of the familiar black and purple that fans have known for quite a long time.
Instead of the main theme being Black we are looking at deep gorgeous Blues, the left and right sleeves are also colored differently from one another. That is all I can share I hope that others will come forward with more if they have it
Because of these crumbs on design changes, some fan art were shared about Scaramouche‘s final in-game design. One of these is by user @Kotaro_AE, showing the Harbinger in an open chest Kimono and the Anemo Vision (or Delusion) on his chest. As for his color, the artist chose blue, green, and white, which effectively gives off the Anemo character vibe.
While fan art about Scaramouche‘s design changes might spark even more hype for the coming of the Fatui Harbinger to the game, fans should be reminded that HoYoverse has not confirmed these changes yet. Therefore, like all leaks, these should be taken with a grain of salt.
