Genshin Impact leaks: Next areas possibly revealed
As we’re getting close to the end of the 2.2 version of Genshin Impact, players are preparing themselves for the next updates to be revealed, such as new areas and new characters. The Special Live Program for 2.3 will be hosted on 11/12, showcasing some of the new content.
The live stream is expected to reveal the next banners, along with new videos on the upcoming characters Arataki Itto and Gorou. But the next anticipated update might be the next one. The leaker Ubatcha revealed today that, after the official end of the 2.3 beta, new information on the next update is finally surfacing.
The next areas that were possibly revealed in Genshin Impact
In his recent tweets, Ubatcha assured his followers that no more changes would arrive in the 2.3 update. So all of the recent leaks might be considered semi-definitive unless miHoYo decides to make a last-minute change.

But the most interesting facts are in his most recent posts. Ubatcha previously announced that 2.4 would bring Yunjin along with a new area, believed to be The Chasm, the area right next to Liyue. The Chasm is expected to be introduced along with the Dendro element.
But now, it seems that his information has changed, and not only The Chasm will still be on hold, but Yunjin will also be accompanied by Shenhe, another long-awaited character.
The next area might be actually Enkanomiya, accessible through the big portal right in front of the Sangonomiya Shrine in Watatsumi Island. As previously hinted through some quests, that portal might finally become a playable area.
While Yunjin was almost confirmed to be introduced (as she even did a cameo during the anniversary event), Shenhe is the big surprise here. To this moment, we don’t have any confirmation on any of the girls’ roles or abilities. Shenhe is expected to be a Cryo character, but that’s all we know for now.
Enkanomiya, on the other hand, is supposedly the place where people from Watatsumi Island came from. It is through some books and quests in the game, and it may hold some of the secrets about Orobashi and the Sangonomiya clan.
Ubatcha’s leaks might not always be accurate, but he’s been gaining some more attention recently, as his predictions have been on point, and he’s one of the last active leakers in the community. It wouldn’t hurt to give the man some belief.

Genshin Impact is currently on its 2.2 version, “Into the Perilous Labyrinth of Fog”, which introduces a whole new area to explore, as well as new enemies, weapons, events, and the return of previously limited characters and gadgets.
