Genshin Impact leaks: Kamisato Ayato and Shikanoin Heizou soon?

Among the insane amount of footage we’ve been getting from Yae Miko (which is being done on purpose according to Ubatcha), we have also been receiving indications of other possible characters, such as Kamisato Ayato and Shikanoin Heizou being released in Genshin Impact.
Both characters have been teased since the arrival of Inazuma the same way Arataki Itto was: through NPC dialogues around the islands or being referenced in other playable characters’ voice lines.
When are Kamisato Ayato and Shikanoin Heizou being released?
While we know that they’ll be playable at some point, there’s no concrete information on when that’s happening, but Ubatcha recently tweeted a suggestive release date for them, which would be during 2.6, in two patches from now.

While we still don’t have anything concrete on Heizou, Ayato is well known among the fans being Ayaka’s brother, the Yashiro Commissioner, and the leader of the Shuumatsuban (the ninja clan Sayu is a member of).
His voice actor was teased briefly during Arataki Itto’s trailer, as a last-minute easter egg, and back in November, we had leaks revolving around both Yae and Ayato’s skills. Since this previous Yae leak turned out to be true, we may expect the same for Ayato, who should be a Hydro character.
Heizou is a little less known than Ayato. He’s a self-proclaimed detective who works for the Tenryou Commission, and was first mentioned on Ayaka’s voice lines. His cousin, Kano Nana, who is also involved in Sayu’s Hangout Events, can be found in the Narukami Temple.
During the recent Warrior Dog event, we learned that he worked alongside Banto Sango in her detective agency once, much to Sango’s dismay.
He works for the Shogunate, just like Kujou Sara, but from all of the voice lines mentioning him, it seems that he has his own way of doing things, and doesn’t care much for anything other than his own interests. We have no information on either his vision or his weapon.
Ayato, who has been hyped since 2.0, is supposed to be a 5-star character, while Heizou would fit well as a 4-star. After they are both released, the last Inazuman character to be mentioned, but not yet playable, will be Kuki Shinobu, a member of the Arataki Gang and Itto’s sidekick.

Genshin Impact is currently on its 2.4 version, “Fleeting Colors in Flight”, which marks the return of the Lantern Rites event, along with some new and returning characters, a whole new area for exploration, new skins, enemies and many more.
You can play the game for free on mobile devices including Android, iOS, Playstation 4, Playstation 5 and Pc on both miHoYo’s official launcher and Epic Games Store. A Nintendo Switch version is stated to be in development.
