Genshin Impact Leaks: Hu Tao might have a banner rerun soon

Hu Tao is undeniably one of the most popular and strongest characters in Genshin Impact. She’s also one of the most recognizable ones. In fact, she has been featured in the Genshin Impact Edition of the OnePlus Ace Pro smartphone.

Prior to this, she was featured during the popular video game’s collaboration with Lawson, the convenience store company, last September, making fans quip that she’s the “Collab Archon,” too busy with collaborations to even appear in-game.

It can be recalled that this 5-star Pyro character had her last banner rerun in November of last year. That’s already a year ago! However, Hu Tao fans are in for a trick-or-a-treat past Halloween, as a new leak suggests that the 77th Director of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor might have a banner rerun soon.

Leak hints at possible Hu Tao rerun

After more than a year of waiting, Hu Tao is finally making a banner rerun in Genshin Impact. This is according to known leaker Genshin Mains. The leaker also mentioned that Hu Tao will have her banner rerun alongside the expected release of Alhaitham in Version 3.4. This is the same version where the 4-star Dendro character Yaoyao is also said to arrive.

The same information was shared by another leaker SaveYourPrimos as they revealed the second phase banners of Version 3.3.

With her banner rerun, Hu Tao’s signature weapon Staff of Homa is expected to be available on the Epitome Invocation weapon banner. This polearm is one of the most versatile weapons in Genshin Impact. Therefore, Hu Tao’s leaked banner rerun is good news for those who have been aiming for this weapon as well.

Genshin Impact is an action role-playing game developed by miHoyo, also known as HoYoverse. The game is available for PC, PS4, PS5, iOS, and Android, while a release on Nintendo Switch is currently in the works.
