Genshin Impact: HoYoverse announces Genius Invokation TCG to be playable soon

With the addition of Sumeru in Genshin Impact 3.0, exciting new content has arrived in the game, with more and more still in store for players. There’s the upcoming addition of the Dendro Archon Nahida, also known as Lesser Lord Kusanali, to the game’s roster of playable characters. Moreover, since the game’s story currently revolves around the nation, players can expect the release of the Genius Invokation TCG.
The Genius Invokation TCG is a trading card game that researchers in the Sumeru Akademiya invented. When these researchers commissioned the traveling merchant Liben to bring the game to the Yae Publishing House in Inazuma, it became popular across the archipelago. In fact, Arataki Itto and Kamisato Ayato love playing the trading card game.
It was previously teased and leaked that this card game will be a permanent mode in Genshin Impact. However, when exactly can fans expect the Genius Invokation TCG mode to be playable?
HoYoverse announces Genius Invokation TCG to be playable soon
In a recent tweet, HoYoverse has announced that the Genius Invokation TCG mode will arrive soon, saying:
“New Permanent Gameplay in Genshin Impact Coming Soon!
Genius Invokation TCG will be a light-hearted, casual gameplay mode that has PvE at its core. All cards can be obtained in-game, with no reward system tied to PvP.”

While the tweet itself has not mentioned an exact date when this mode will be available, one of the photos that came along with it mentioned that it would be in Version 3.3. Following the current five-week cycle per patch, the earliest possible date players can access this mode will be December 7, 2022.
Genshin Impact is an action role-playing game developed by miHoyo, also known as HoYoverse. The game is available for PC, PS4, PS5, iOS, and Android, while a release on Nintendo Switch is currently in the works.
