Some quests in Genshin Impact will require you to wait till the next morning, afternoon or even night, which means you can wait or time skip.

Waiting till the next morning in Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact features a lot of quests and events that will require a set time of day to work. One such example of this is during the Irodori festival; Ootomo will require you to speak to him at set times of day, usually, the next morning between 8am and 12pm.

To change the time in Genshin Impact without actually waiting for it manually, you just need to make use of the Time feature. Using a keyboard; press Escape to bring up the menu, then click on the golden clock icon.

Adjust the clock hands to be the time you want to time skip to, and then simply hit the confirm button to begin a time skip.

You can use this method to complete objectives like wait till the next morning, afternoon or night in Genshin Impact quite easily, and it is much simpler and faster than having to wait for the actual game time to update to whatever time you need it to be.
