While exploring Sumeru in Genshin Impact, you must have encountered a lot of new creatures, beautiful sceneries, and amazing treasures. However, some of these treasures are locked behind puzzles. One of them is the Common Chest on a bridge in Sumeru.

Usually, locked chests can be opened when you defeat the enemies that spawn near them, but this is not the case with this one. You must have also found some torches nearby and lit them up, but they’re still not enough to unlock the chest.

If you’re wondering how you can unlock the Common Chest on a bridge in Sumeru, we’ll tell you how.

How to unlock the Common Chest on a bridge in Sumeru

This Common Chest is located south of the Palace of Alcazarzary as shown in the image below.

To unlock the Common Chest on a bridge, you must light torches on each side with a Pyro ATK. Note that there are a total of four (4) torches, two (2) on each side. However, you cannot normally light two (2) torches because they are translucent.

To fully reveal these torches, you must make use of the Tri-Yana Seeds that are floating around (one on each side of the bridge), the one that looks like a flying plant.

Similar to Tri-Lakshana Creatures all over Sumeru, the Tri-Yana Seed also has three states depending on the element that hits them. Pyro attacks make it inactive. Dendro attacks make it float around. Electro attacks make it release a large Truesense Pulse.

The trick here is to hit the Tri-Yana Seed with an Electro ATK when it is near the translucent torch. Doing so will fully reveal the torch which you can then light up using a Pyro ATK.

Again, there are a total of four (4) torches around the bridge, two of which can only be revealed by using the Tri-Yana Seed.

Once you light them all up, the chest should be unlocked and you can reap the rewards!
