Genshin Impact: How to make Blue Dye for decorations

Genshin Impact Serenitea Pot indoors Scenery 2

If you’ve been playing the latest Genshin Impact update, you might have needed Blue Dye in the Housing System. Here’s how to make more.

How to get Blue Dye in Genshin Impact

Blue dye, like all other dyes for that matter, can be made inside the Serenitea Pot.

To make Blue Dye once you are inside the pot, begin by speaking to your Teapot Spirit Tubby. You’ll then need to enter the create furnishings menu and swap to the secondary tab at the top. From here, you’ll be able to create any of the three dye types provided you have the relevant materials.

What you’ll need to make Blue Dye

Blue dye can made in this menu from any of the following 2 items:

  • Mint
  • Wolfhook

Of these, it’s a fairly easy to say that you should use Mint instead of Wolfhook unless you have absolutely loads of Wolfhook, as Wolfhook is used as an Ascension material and is in comparatively smaller supply.

Provided you have a decent stockpile of either of these items, that should be all you need to make Blue Dye.

Why do I need Blue Dye in Genshin Impact?

Strictly speaking, you don’t explicitly need any blue dye. However, if you intend to increase trust rank within the Serenitea Pot (housing system) you will need to create as many unique decorations once as you can.

And that means you’ll want dyes to make them.
