Genshin Impact hasn’t always had 120 fps support on mobile devices – for a long time it was locked at 60 fps alongside the Android and PC versions of the game. Nowadays though, if you own a supported device, you can enjoy smooth 120 fps gameplay with Genshin Impact, if you can figure out how to enable it anyway. If you’re having trouble with that, we’ve got everything you need to know below…

How to enable 120 fps in Genshin Impact on iOS

Once you’ve downloaded the most recent version of Genshin Impact – something that should be prompted automatically when you try to open your Genshin Impact (if you’re not already updated) – you’re going to need to head to the Settings menu, then the Graphics sub-menu. Here, you will be able to find an “FPS” option that can be toggled with 30, 60, or 120. All you need to do is select it and choose which fps option you want to use.

In the top right, you should see a gauge of how your device will handle your current game settings – be careful not to overdo it!

You can find the settings menu in the Paimon menu at the top left corner of your screen – it’ll be one of the options that pop up when you tap this! Even if you have a supported device with a 120hz display, your Genshin Impact will default to 30 fps.
