Genshin Impact: How to do the charge the Thunder Dwelling Commission

Every few days you might be given the charge the thunder dwelling commission in Inazuma for your Genshin Impact dailies, but how do you do it?

How to charge the Thunder Dwelling in your Genshin Impact Commission

The Thunder Dwelling is an infrequent Inazuma commission in Genshin Impact, and while the text indicates you should charge the Thunder Dwelling at first, the actual goal is to defeat the spawned opponents through any means you can.

With that said, the Thunder Dwelling itself is actually the best way to do the commission, but as you may have guessed, it needs to be charged for it to do anything.

The Thunder Dwelling will gain charge when you are affected by Electro, and the commission will pretty much always take place next to an Electrograna, so you can interact with those for a constant source of Electro that will charge the Thunder Dwelling for you. When charged, it’ll emit a blast of damage on the nearby enemies, and is often enough to one-shot the majority if not just about anything you’ll be fighting as part of this Genshin Impact commission.

In any case, once the opponents are defeated the commission will complete regardless of how you did so, so if you’re capable of killing them faster than the Thunder Dwelling can charge, just defeat them in whatever method you prefer – but otherwise, simply deal what damage you can to them and charge up the dwelling over time, once the circle above it is full, the damage pulse will kick in and wipe them out for you.
